On Comments
Okay, less than a day in and the first drawback to Vox is readily apparent: you have to be registered in order to comment.
Now, with open registration this would be a mere annoyance, and one that I think would be worthwhile to me, just as it is useful to have a LiveJournal account. But when it's invite-only, this really cuts into the potential for community feedback. For the Official Shrub.com Blog posts, just comment there. For the rest, I'm not sure. I don't want to start a third site just for comments unless it's absolutely necessary - that's too much work.
I don't have many invites to the service at the moment, but if you'd like one send me an email. Alternatively, if you'd like me to post a comment for you just send it to me via email telling me (a) the title of the post you're commenting on, (b) the name you'd like to post the comment under, and (c) the comment, and I'll post it for you.
